Keep an eye on your money – with a budget that actually works

Moneytracker is a household budget based on the “give every euro a job” principle: you assign the money you have to categories such as rent, groceries or holidays and always see how much is still available in each category. Moneytracker runs in the browser on any device, complemented by the iOS app “Cash Track” for on the go. The app is currently available in German.

Budget

• “Ready to assign” shows how much money is not yet assigned to a category
• Monthly budgets with rollover: leftover amounts carry over to the next month automatically
• Targets per category: monthly amount, target balance or amount by a date
• Move money between categories, monthly notes, undo and redo

Accounts & transactions

• Checking, cash, credit card, savings, investments – as budget, off-budget or closed account
• Income, expenses and transfers, optionally with time and location
• Recurring transactions: weekly, monthly, on a fixed day of the month or yearly
• Suggestions while entering: payees by location, category by payee
• Account view by month, custom period or all time

Reports & data

• Income and expenses of the last 12 months, spending by category, savings rate
• Import from YNAB (register and plan file)
• Export of all data as JSON or CSV – anytime and complete
• REST API for your own analyses

Privacy

• No tracking, no ads, no cookies, no embedded third parties
• All data is stored on a server in Vienna (Austria)
• Delete your account including all data yourself at any time

Pricing

The first two months are free, no payment details required. After that, Moneytracker costs €2.99 per month or €29 per year. Without a subscription your data stays readable and exportable.
